Anybody out there got a wiring diagram/wire color guide for the speaker outputs on the Sony amp?

I'm looking for this as well. If I find anything I'll report back.

Anyone here figure out the capturing of a signal without breaking everything issue? Also, anyone find a solid remote turn-on lead in the cargo area?

Thought I would ask before I start searching.

Wait, what issue is that again? I'm trying to figure out how to insert an equalizer in the signal somewhere, and I'd like very much to know about this issue ahead of time :)

Yes Hoppy, what issue are you referring to. I have an lc7i that I plan on using.

For example: I tapped into the signal wires before the amp, 4 of them (front), now I have no volume control from the deck or steering wheel. When I had all 8 signal wires rerouted the volume bar would move back and forth, but no volume actually changed.

It is a fixed signal and the amp/DSP controls the volume.

I wanted the unfiltered signal from before the amp, but I guess Its gonna have to be taken from the speaker leads.

My next step is to rewire the front signal wires to factory and tap into the speaker outputs.

Anyone found a good remote lead yet?

That's what I was afraid of. I figured that might be the case when I saw the CAN bus connections to the amp on the wiring diagram. The Dynaudio system in the GTI does something similar, and I'm sure others do as well. Auto manufacturers are making it ever harder to make changes to sound systems these days.:(

Yea this really sucks. I guess I will be taking the speaker level signal into the LC7i and hope the signal is not to filtered. Thanks for the heads up before I whacked the wiring to pieces.
